LessBranding.com is operated by John Hitchens trading as LessBranding. We keep data handling minimal and boring, which is how it should be.

What we collect and why

When you place an order: your name, email address, delivery address and the items you bought. We need these to fulfil your contract: to deliver your order, send order emails and provide support. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card numbers.

When you contact us: your name, email address and message, so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.

When you browse: our server logs record IP addresses and requested pages for security and error diagnosis, retained briefly. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Who we share it with

Only what is needed to serve you: our payment provider (Stripe), our email delivery provider (Resend), and the fulfilment partner dispatching your order (who receives your name and delivery address only). We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 6 years to meet UK tax and accounting obligations. Contact messages are kept while relevant. Server logs rotate automatically.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete what we are not legally required to keep. Email support@lessbranding.com and we will act on it promptly. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
